On the occasion of Orticolario 2018, in the splendid setting of Villa Erba in Cernobbio, we promoted the “Design Dehor Contest” dedicated to outdoor design .
The competition winner, landscape architect Laura Mantegazza , created a water-filled planter. A small basin surrounded by aquatic plants (sage) and featuring "fish to be saved." The silhouettes were crafted from steel, aluminum, iron, and Cor-Ten, and offered in a variety of finishes by Martin Design.
Not just design and greenery, but also food for thought. The work's goal is to raise awareness about thorny issues, such as environmental and animal protection.
