Martin Design planters come with adjustable feet for uneven floors. The threaded rod on which the foot is mounted is 12 mm in diameter and made of galvanized steel. The standard version can vary from 0 to 5 cm. There are no length limits for the threaded rod, if desired. Stainless steel feet can be installed upon request.
These can be mounted on wheels of various thicknesses and diameters to support the weight of the earth and plants. The wheels are made of galvanized sheet metal or stainless steel with vulcanized silicone rubber.
Inside, 100mm diameter holes are made for water drainage using stainless steel micro-expanded mesh, allowing both excess water to escape and allowing the soil to breathe. Alternatively, holes can be drilled and the water diverted into special drains or wells. Martin Design solves excess water problems with customized solutions, building custom channels or drains.
All planters are internally insulated to protect the roots during the hottest summer months, when the sun can heat the metal sheet to temperatures that can harm the plants.
